Minnesota Lawmakers Finally Legalize High Stakes Bar Meat
The Minnesota legislature just reached a bipartisan agreement to raise the legal limit for meat raffle prizes to $200. It is comforting to know that while the world burns, our leaders can find common ground on the critical issue of how much vacuum-sealed brisket one man can win at a dive bar. In Los Angeles, $200 is a delivery fee, but in the Midwest, it is apparently a legislative victory for the hungry gambler. I have seen more dignity in a dog park than in a government body debating the fiscal ceiling of a prize ham.
