Paris Jackson skipped the Michael premiere in Berlin to stay in West Hollywood and air out the estate's mismanagement. I have seen better branding in a mid-tier influencer's apology video than what this biopic is promising. When the daughter of the subject refuses to show up because the script is a work of fiction, the red carpet is just a crime scene with better lighting. She is choosing a sidewalk cigarette over a sanitized legacy. That is not a scandal. That is a refusal to be a prop in someone else's tax write-off.
