Syncere Lume is just a spy disguised as expensive decor
Syncere just dropped Lume, a domestic robot that pretends to be a bedside lamp while it folds your clothes through machine learning. We have officially reached the point of social decay where we are too embarrassed to own a robot that looks like a robot, so we bought a lightbulb with a job instead. I don’t need an algorithm to tell me my laundry is a disaster and I certainly don't need a desk lamp recording my bedroom activities just so it can fail at folding a fitted sheet. This isn't innovation, it is just a way for tech bros to charge you nine hundred dollars for a witness to your poor life choices.
