Julia Fox defends red carpet influencers as human props
Julia Fox is telling the world to just let the influencers onto the red carpets even after they acted like hyperactive toddlers during her Vanity Fair interview. I will be honest, I have sat through enough of these press circuits to know a PR pivot when I see one. Julia is not being 'nice' to kids like Jake Shane; she is protecting her status by not looking like a gatekeeping dinosaur to the Zoomer army. It is the new Hollywood math where being interrupted by a kid with a smartphone is worth more engagement than a respectful talk with a pro. We have turned the prestige circuit into a talent show where the loudest person with the most ring light batteries wins. I would say I am shocked, but I am too busy spotting the anxiety in the eyes of everyone holding a real microphone.
