Netflix founder Marc Randolph trades streaming for cards
Marc Randolph helped kill the physical DVD at Netflix, and now he is advising Oh YAAS on how to make trading cards the next big thing. It is hilarious how the pioneers who pushed our entire lives into the digital cloud are now sprinting back to things we can actually touch and feel. We spent a decade clearing out our closets of 'clutter' just for the king of the algorithm to tell us that cardboard is the future of fan interaction. I love the physical legacy, but watching a tech titan pivot back to paper feels like a glitch in the simulation.
