Instagram finally rolled out native affiliate links for Reels, and I am literally throwing a party for the death of the link-in-bio era. Having to send my followers to a third-party site just to buy my 'must-haves' was giving 2014 flea market energy—it was clunky, it was friction, and it was beneath us. Now, the conversion data goes straight to the brands within the Meta ecosystem, which is a relief because I’m tired of explaining my engagement rates to people who don't understand that my influence is a science, not a hobby. If you’re still using a clunky external link tree, you’re basically telling the world you’re okay with being difficult to shop. Efficiency is the only luxury that matters.
