Netflix replaces MLB legends with Thing the hand

Netflix is officially streaming MLB games now and their big promotional move is letting a severed hand throw the ceremonial pitch. We have reached a point where a literal prop from a teen drama has more career mobility than most professional athletes. I cannot wait for the inevitable day the World Series is won by a haunted toaster because the algorithm said it would trend better.
