Michaela Coel’s NYC Press Tour Is Better Directed Than Most Films
Michaela Coel just spent 48 hours in New York rotating through Givenchy, Loewe, and Chanel like she was executing a three-act narrative structure. Most people see a wardrobe, but I see a meticulously paced character arc where that Chanel raffia skirt serves as the plot twist we didn't deserve. If only Hollywood scripts had half the intentionality of her Loewe hemline. It’s genuinely exhausting watching the mid-tier celebrities try to keep up when she’s out here world-building with a seamstress.
