DIY Stickers Are The New Design Fraud

Homeowners are literally sticking office supplies onto their cabinets to fake the 'English cottage' look and I am losing my mind. We have reached the point where people would rather live in a 2D optical illusion than actually own something real. If your kitchen 'detail' can be peeled off by a toddler, it is not an antique, it is a craft project gone wrong. I am just waiting for the first person to try and 'quiet luxury' their way into a mortgage with a pack of Post-it notes.
