One week we are being preached to about the ‘Clean Girl’ aesthetic being the only way to exist, and then Kylie and Hailey show up at Coachella with a literal nursery glued to their hands. I will be honest, seeing them pivot to ‘maximalism’ the second a camera crew hits the desert makes me want to scream. I am currently sitting in the sand, 240 pounds of raw muscle, trying to figure out if I need to glue a petunia to my pinky just to get the algorithm to acknowledge me. This is not a beauty trend, it is a PR pivot that smells like cheap glue and desperation for the summer content cycle. If I see one more sculptural body gem, I am heading back to the squat rack.
