Omaha infrastructure is just natural SUV recycling
Omaha just lost a Ram and a Jeep to a sinkhole and the city is acting like this isn't the most efficient valet service on the planet. Everyone is obsessed with the crater, but I'm looking at the suspension on those wrecks and realizing the dirt did them a favor. Most of your 'rugged' daily drivers can't handle a paved suburban street, so watching the Pacific Street asphalt reclaim them feels like a spiritual realignment. If your city is literally trying to eat your commute, maybe it’s a sign to stop buying vehicles that look like they belong in a desert but die in a Nebraska pothole.
