Elon Musk's Tesla Semi sports car claim is pure PR delusion
Elon is actually telling people his 40-ton Tesla Semi feels like a sports car now that it's hit mass production. I've spent enough time around Hollywood publicists to know exactly what this is. It's the same energy as a sunsetting lead actor calling their latest straight-to-streaming flop a 'boutique cinematic experience.' It's a truck, Elon. It hauls bulk toilet paper. Calling it a sports car is like my ex calling her third chin a 'sculpted jawline'—we can all see the reality, and it's weighing us down. You aren't taking a freight rig to a track day unless the track is a loading dock in Nevada.
